It is strongly advised that all installation, operation and maintenance personnel read this
guide before working on the X
5c
X-Ray Inspection System and comply with the instructions
and information contained herein.
It is essential that all personnel engaged in activities associated with the installation,
operation, servicing and maintenance of the X
5c
X-Ray Inspection System have been
adequately trained and are appropriately qualified and experienced to do so.
All personnel should comply with the statutory requirements and regulations, including the
provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act (UK), other EU relevant legislation, relevant
OSHA regulations, and any amendments that may become legal requirements.
EC Declaration of Conformity
Provided it is installed, operated, serviced and maintained in accordance with the guidelines
contained in this document, the X
5c
X-Ray Inspection System addresses the fundamental
safety and health requirements of the following directives:
EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
EC Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC.
EU-Directive 1935/2004/EC (Materials for Food Contact).
EU-Directive 2023/2006/EC (Good manufacturing practice for materials and articles
intended to come into contact with food).
EU-Directive 2011/10/EC plus amendments 1282/2011/EC and 1183/2012/EC (Plastic
Materials and Articles intended to come into contact with food). A signed and dated
EC Declaration of Conformity is provided with each system delivered.
Any modifications made to any part of the system without the prior written
agreement of Loma Systems will invalidate the EC Declaration of Conformity and
also the product warranty.
