CAUTION

Our quality control department ensures that every CARVY leaves our factory in a perfect condition. We
also take best possible care of the CARVY during transportation and storage. Despite all precautionary
actions taken from our side we recommend to you check your CARVY carefully before using it for the first
time!

Always check your CARVY for any kind of damage before using it. In the event of any damage, do not

       use the CARVY.

Make sure that the CARVY will not get damaged when unpacking it by using knives or sharp tools.
Keep the CARVY out of children´s reach. It is not a toy! (Not suited for kids below 15 years of age).
Watch your environment and dispose the packaging in appropriate recycling containers.
Before using the CARVY, always check that all cables, handles, switches are in perfect condition.
Check if all screws are well tightened, check if the wheels have enough air and check all visible parts

       for defects or damages.

Make sure that the brake works correctly before using the CARVY.

When you unpack your CARVY for the first time, the battery is charged to approx. 50–70%.

Please charge the battery to 100% before you use the CARVY for the first time.

The CARVY is equipped with a powerful motor. Please hold the handlebars with both hands and

accelerate smoothly to set off. Lean slightly forwards to avoid tipping over and falls.

Get used to handle the CARVY and practice on a quiet path (firstly without the motor, then with motor

       on lowest level).

Don´t exceed the maximum load of 100 kg.

General safety advice

Riding an e-scooter can be dangerous. Always take care and ride it in a responsible manner!
Be careful when riding your CARVY for the first time, choose a quiet path and learn to get used to the

       scooter.

Always be alert to potential dangers while driving.
The CARVY can only be used by one person at a time (don’t ride it with 2 people at once!).
The CARVY is not suited for races, nor should it be used for acrobatics or rough use.
It is not suited for kids under 15 years of age.
The CARVY must be kept out of children´s reach. It is not a toy!

 Maximum load: 100 kg.

For your own safety, make sure you wear suitable protective clothing. Never go without elbow

protection and knee protection, as well as a helmet.

The CARVY can climb hills with a gradient of 10%.

It is forbidden to attach a child's seat to the CARVY.
Short downhill distances with up to 10% gradient can be managed easily. Longer downhill distances or

steeper terrain are forbidden to ride as this may cause a brake failure.

If the brake should begin to squeak or smoke (while going downhill), you must stop using the CARVY

immediately to cool it down, in order to avoid the risk of a brake failure. The brake should be tested
again once the CARVY cooled down. If it is not working correctly, stop using the CARVY and get the
brakes checked by a specialized mechanic.
