1.5.10 BEWARE OF HIGH VOLTAGE CABLES
Do not let the machine touch the overhead
cables, even near the high voltage cable can
cause electric shock. Keep a safe distance
between the machine and cable as shown in the
following table.
For the prevention of accidents, please perform
the following tasks:
When there is a danger of touch the cable during
operation on site, consult the power company
before the start of operation, examine the
feasibility of this operation based on the existing
relevant laws and regulations.
Wear rubber boots and gloves. Lay a rubber mat
on the operator’s seat and be careful not to let
any part of the body touch the exposed part of the
metal chassis. Designate a signal commander
who sends warning signal if the machine is too
close to the cable.
If the working device touched the cable, the
operator shall not leave the cab.
When operating near the high voltage cables, do
not let anyone close to the machine.
Prior to operation, consult the local power
company for inquiring about cable voltage.
