Attention: to secure the shim under an insole, use longer screws supplied with
the shoes or available as a kit from your retailer (reference kit LOOK 20mm screw:
DTPD/0151059).
4: PAD: Buffer clearance pad between the shim and the pedal. It is essential for the proper
functioning.
Attention: If the setting memory is used, the PAD must be positioned by the outside
of the shim once it is attached to the sole.
Its shape and its material allow it (see next paragraph).
Attention: It becomes dangerous to use the shim when the
pads are worn enough to reveal one of the wear indicators
(see diagram opposite).
