WATER CONNECTION AND DRAIN
It is recommended that the appliance be connected to the hot water pipe in order to reduce the heating time; it
is also recommended to install a cutoff cock upstream from the appliance.
The drain pipe must be connected to a suitable drain according to the legal standards.
It is recommended that the pipe be connected so as to avoid choking in the siphons. The water is drained through
a free fall and therefore it is necessary that the height of the drain be lower than the exit point of the appliance
pipe.
EQUIPOTENTIAL
The appliance must be connected to an equipotential system. The connection screw is positioned on the
rear part of the appliance and is distinguished by the symbol
.

Start-up
Before using the appliance for the first cooking it must be thoroughly cleaned, above all, the tub (see the
paragraph "Cleaning and maintenance").
Check the connection of the appliance and then start it following the instructions.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Warning:
Never leave the working appliance unattended!
Never start up the appliance without water!
Boiling units are appliances for cooking pasta, vegetables, rice, eggs, legumes, etc.
Ignition
Check that the lever (B) of the drain cock is in the closed position
Connect the switch placed upstream from the appliance.
Turn the knob (A) from "O" to the ignition of the pilot light (D) which indicates that the appliance is live. Fill
the tub with water up to the maximum level, operating the key (E)
Turn the knob (A) again up to the desired position between 30° and 110°C. The pilot light (C) turns on which
signals the functioning of the heating element. When it turns off it indicates that the temperature has been
reached. To turn the appliance off, set knob (A) to position "O" again.
