*Engine running required to operate.
Mirror control switch:
This is located at the
end of the driver’s fascia outboard of the
lighting switch and comprises a combined
selector switch and adjuster knob.
Mirror adjustment:
Select the right or left
hand mirror by turning the knob to the
appropriate arrow, then use the knob
to move the mirror glass in any of four
directions.
Note that the passenger door mirror
MIRRORS & DOOR WINDOWS
glass is convex to provide a wider field
of vision, but by so doing, makes objects
seem smaller and farther away than when
viewed through a flat glass (as fitted to the
driver's mirror).
Take care when judging
distances and approach speeds until
familiarity has been gained.
WARNING
The passenger side convex mirror makes
objects seem smaller and farther away
than when viewed through a flat mirror.
Take care to judge distances and speeds
correctly. If you move into a lane on your
right when the car behind is too close, you
could cause a collision and a crash. Check
your interior mirror or glance over your
shoulder before changing lanes.
To fold flat:
Select the central ‘fold’ rotary
position on the knob, a momentary
downwards push will fold the mirrors
inwards flat against the doors.
To unfold:
With the knob still in the central
‘fold’ rotary position, a momentary
upwards push of the knob will unfold the
mirrors and the driving vision setting will
be restored.
