7.3.5 View Log
In this page it is possible to view point by point all the acquisions done in the last data logging
cycle. You can view starng data and me of the log, each measurement point, point sequenal
number, value, and the me elapsed.
Using the arrow-keys it is possible to scroll point by point all the log.
7.4 Filter
(only applicable for acve transducer/sensor - built-in or external)
The se ng of the digital filter allows
to adapt to the needs of the user.

The signals are filtered out using 2 parameters:
•
= for the moving average filter (digital filter)
Sample Number
•
= acquison frequency
Acq. Frequency
The acquision frequency (in Hertz) can take the following values:
4800 2400 1200 600 300 100 50 20 10 5

and indicates the speed with which is performed the single analogue to digital conversion from
the sensor signal connected (or built-in) to the
. The choice of the sampling frequency
LHM
LR-
Cal
is determined by the applicaon.
If it is necessary to detect peaks or high frequency signals is preferable to have a high frequency
of conversion while if signals must be detected very accurately it is preferable to have a low
frequency of sampling.
See below figure which compares two curves at high and low frequencies of acquision.
The signal can be digitally filtered by se ng a moving average filter on a number of samples
ranges from 1 to 32.
Number of samples is a choice field. Valid values are:
-
-
-
-
-
1 2 4 8 16 32
Increasing the number of sampling the signal becomes more stable at the expense of stabilizaon
mes.
Obviously also the choice of this paramter is determined by the applicaon.
The figure on next page shows the effect on the sampled signal in the case of a low value of
sampling and of a high value.
