SCSI related issues
Previously, if more than one command was sent from the same host to the primary port and the same LUN
and one of those commands was aborted, the others were also aborted. This was because the
fi
rmware
treated this situation as an Abort Task Set management function. Because tags are not always provided
by FC and pSCSI HBAs, the
fi
rmware instead uses its own internal unique command identi
fi
cation to
abort speci
fi
c commands (Exchange ID). This issue has been
fi
xed.

Installation instructions
Use HP StorageWorks Library & Tape Tools (L&TT) to update the tape drive
fi
rmware. You can download
L&TT from
http://www.hp.com/support/tapetools
. Online help and instructions are included with
the utility.
NOTE:
Once the download has started, do NOT power off the unit or interrupt the
fi
rmware download process
until the download is complete. Doing so could leave the product in a non-usable state.

Determining current version
You can check your current
fi
rmware revision from HP Library & Tape Tools (L&TT). Launch L&TT, select the
product from the lower left hand frame and click on the identity button at the top (if necessary).
