Mounting Directly on a Wall.
If desired, the 4U40 cord-free headset may be
installed directly on the wall without a standard
wall plate. Before mounting the 4U40 cord-free
headset directly to wall, one should:

Select a location away from electrical lines,
pipes or other potential hazards contained inside
the wall.
Be sure that the wall material is sufficient to
support the Base Unit and Remote.
Use #10 screws with an anchoring device suitable
for the wall material.
1.
Insert the screws, with their appropriate
anchoring devices, at the desired level; one
placed approximately 3 5/16 inches above the
other. Allow 3/16 of an inch between the wall
and screw heads for mounting the unit on the
wall plate.
2.
Insert AC Adapter into the Base Unit.
Plug the AC Adapter into a standard 120V AC wall
outlet. Use only the Adapter supplied with the
4U40 cord-free headset.
3.
Place the AC Adapter cord in the left channel
cord holder.
