8-port E1 slot card
8-port E1 slot card
The 8-port E1 slot card is available in two versions, a wide profile version (APX1-SL-CE1-C)
for use in the top slot, and a narrow profile version (TNT-SL-CE1-C) for use in one of the
other APX 1000 slots. Each version provides 8 E1 interfaces. They can be used together to
equip the APX 1000 with a total of 16 E1 interfaces. Each E1 interface supports 30 64Kbps
DS0 channels, each of which can transmit and receive data or digitized voice.
E1 status indicators
Each of the 8-port E1 cards have the FAULT indicator LED described in “Multipurpose status
indicator on slot cards” on page B-1.
