Ethernet Module
The Ethernet module provides Ethernet bridging from LAN to LAN, and from
LAN to ATM. The module has five ports on the faceplate and a sixth, virtual
port built into the circuit board. The virtual port provides 70 virtual channels
that transmit data through the backplane. The Ethernet module has three
types of light-emitting diode (LED) indicators: FAIL, ACTIVE, and LOS (loss
of signal).
