On the ATM IISP Interface Configuration window, the maximum credit
window (the
SSCOP Rx Window Size
field) is configurable for a value up to
32 for all ATM interfaces on the Multiservice Media Gateway. The interfaces
of the ATM switches that are connected to an Multiservice Media Gateway
should be configured to the same values. This results in 100% call
completion at a call setup rate of 60 calls per second using even distribution.
If these values are not configured in this way, calls will be set up at a rate of
less than 60 calls per second.
Note:
Various SSCOP parameter settings determine the maximum credit
window. As a result, you may not be able to directly use these
settings.
Configuring the ATM PNNI 1.0 Interface
To set the values for the ATM PNNI interface, perform the steps in the
following procedure.

Setting the Values for the ATM PNNI 1.0 Interface

On the Port and Channel Configuration window of any module
supporting the ATM PNNI interface, select
AtmPnni1-0
as the interface
type.

Select the
Apply the Port and Channel Configuration
command and
press Enter.

Select
Configure Interface and press Enter.
The ATM PNNI Interface Configuration window is displayed (see
Figure 5-8).
