Chapter 8 Provisioning Connections Using the AQueView

Provisioning SPVC Connections

Enables automatic end-to-end provisioning (provisioning
SPVCs in at two different points). When an active SPVC con-
nection is created using the
AQueView
®
system, selecting
Automatic
in this field results in
the passive end-point being provisioned automatically by the
AQueView
®
system. The information about where to provision
the passive end-point is obtained from the NSAP database
using the
Remote NSAP Address (Hex)
field for the active
SPVC connection. The
Remote NSAP Address (Hex)
field
should exist in the NSAP address database.

Passive endpoint of a SPVC connection, waiting for call from an
active side.

Active endpoint of a SPVC connection, waiting for the retry
timer to expire so that it can retry the call.
