Forwarding General Mailbox
Messages
If you are the General Mailbox Owner, use the following procedure to foward a message from
the General Mailbox to the appropriate subscriber’s mailbox. Your Message light is ON when
messages are in the General Mailbox or in your personal mailbox.

The Voice Mail Menu plays.
Dial the General Mailbox number [

Dial the General Mailbox Owner’s PASSWORD followed by [

The prompt confirms that you have logged into the General Mailbox.

] to get messages.
The message header plays. This may include a message indicating the who
the caller had attempted to reach.

] to play the message.
The message plays.
Press [

] to respond to the message.
The Message Responding Menu plays.
Press [

] to add your comments to the original message.
The Message Recording Menu plays.
Lift the handset, record your comments, then press [

Example: Joe, this is a message for you from the General Mailbox.
Choose an option or go to step 10.

Dial the EXTENSION of the subscriber who receives the message, and press

Repeat step 11 to send the same message to multiple subscribers.

The prompt states that the message is scheduled for delivery. PARTNER
MAIL lights the Message light at the destination phone(s).
