Temporary Schedule Changes
Your company’s business schedule may change due to an early closing or an
emergency such as inclement weather. This may require the company to be open on
a day that it is normally closed, or closed on a day that it is normally open.
A temporary schedule change is only effective for the day you make it; the regular
schedule automatically resumes at midnight. You can program the changes from any
on- or off-site touch-tone phone. These instructions describe how to do the
following:

Change the schedule to open or closed.
Record a Temporary Closure Greeting telling callers why the hours changed.
Program the system to play the factory-set Temporary Closure Greeting that
states the company is closed for today.
Program the system to play the Night Greeting (which normally plays when
your company is closed) during the temporary closure.
Access the Administration Main Menu as described in an earlier section.
The system plays the system programming options.
Press [

] to program the schedule.
The system plays the Schedule Administration menu.
Press [

] to change to open or closed.
Choose:
— Press [

] for open. This procedure is complete. The prompt says,
The business will be open until midnight.
— Press [

] for closed. The system prompts you to:
Press 1 to use the regular closed greeting, or 2 to use the
temporary closure greeting.
Go to step 5.

] for the switch mode. The procedure is complete. The prompt
