Changing a Password
If an employee in your company forgets the password to his or her Mailbox, you can
reset the password to 1234 so the employee can retrieve the messages in the
Mailbox. The employee can then change the password.
If you, the System Administrator, have forgotten your password, call the AT&T
Helpline (refer to the cover of this guide for the phone number) or call
your authorized dealer to reset it.
Reset a password to 1234 as follows:

Access the Administration Main Menu as described in an earlier section.
The system plays the system programming options.
Press [

] for Mailbox programming.
The Mailbox Administration Menu plays.
Press [

] to modify a Mailbox.
The system prompts you to enter a mailbox number.
Enter the MAILBOX (extension) being modified followed by [

].
The system prompts you to press [

] to change the name, press [

] to change
the Class of Service, or Press [

] to initialize a password.
Press [

] to reset the password. The system plays:
