Deallocate Line Ownership
Use the following procedure to remove the assignment of a line owner. Be sure to
update Form 10: Line Ownership to reflect changes. After Line Ownership is
deallocated, the system prompts callers who call in on this covered line to leave a
message in the General Mailbox. To remove VMS Line coverage, refer to Chapter 3
and perform PARTNER II programming procedure #206.

Access the Administration Main Menu as described in an earlier section.
The system plays the system programming options.
Press [

] to program Line Ownership.
The Line Ownership Administration Menu plays.
Press [

] to deallocate a line owner.
The system prompts you to enter the CO line number.
Enter the CO line number followed by [

].
The system plays the CO line number, the name of line owner (or the
extension that owns the line) and asks you to confirm the deallocation.
Choose:

Deleted
