PROBLEM: Touch-Tones are missed by the PARTNER MAIL system.
Possible Cause
The line is too “noisy”.
Corrective Action
The system may not be able to
interpret Touch-Tones while a greeting
plays. Wait until the greeting finishes
before entering the Touch-Tones.
If you are using a speakerphone, turn
off the microphone.
PROBLEM: Part of the greeting gets cut off.
Possible Cause
Corrective Action
You may have begun recording the
greeting too early.
A Touch-Tone signal may have been
accidentally recorded with the greeting.
After the prompt to record the greeting,
pause a moment before speaking. Re-
record the greeting.
Re-record the greeting.
