On ADU option switch S1 (Figure 1 and Table A) use an orange stick
(KS-6320, L1) or equivalent and set switches as follows:
• 1 - Toward PL (away from number) for protection switching. Toward NPL
(toward number) for no protection switching.
• 2 - Toward 4, unless FPB Mode 2 application is being equipped (toward
2).
• 3 - Toward ABI (away from number).
• 4 - Toward CDI (away from number) if shelf group CD is being equipped.
• 5 - Toward ABE (away from number).
• 6 - Toward CDE (away from number) if shelf group CD is being equipped.
• 7 - This position is ignored for FPB applications. For C-AutoCut or other
applications, toward MJ if MISC1 is to report a major alarm or toward MN
if MISC1 is to report a minor alarm.
• 8 - This position is ignored for FPB applications. For C-AutoCut or other
applications, toward MJ if MISC2 is to report a major alarm or toward MN
if MISC2 is to report a minor alarm.

On ADU option switch S2 (Figure 1), use an orange stick (KS-6320) or equiva-
lent and set switches as follows:
• 1 - Toward 13.
• 2 - Toward FS for FPB (Feature Package B Mode 1 or Mode 2) applica-
tions. Toward FE for Feature Package C-AutoCut or other applications.
• 3 -Toward CUT for Feature Package C-AutoCut applications. Toward NC
for FPB or other applications.
• FPB Mode 2 must be set to NC for ADU FAIL, MN, NE, and CMP alarms
to clear.
• 4 - Toward DBL.
• 5 - Toward NPA.
• 6 - Toward MNP.
• 7 and 8 - Unused.

Set switch S3 toward DL.
6.
Set system identification rotary switches S4 (most significant digit) through S7
(least significant digit) to bank ID number.
7.
Set rotary switches S8 through S11 to 0.
