Perform the following items to clear trouble:
• At COT, check LIU options and replace LIU if options are correct.
• At RT, check ADU options and replace ADU if options are correct.
• At RT, check LIU options and replace LIU if options are correct.

After performing the above Step, did LIU B
CLF and BCU B indicators go off?
If NO, then continue with Step 7.
If YES, then proceed to Step 8.
7.
Trouble on digital line associated with digroup B. Verify that digital pairs have
been connected to the proper outside plant cable pairs. Use 363-205-500 or
363-202-500 TOP fault-locating procedures to locate trouble.
8.
Request COT personnel to install LIU circuit packs in LIU D slot.
Response:
All alarms clear.
9.
After COT installs LIU D, did all alarms clear?
If NO, then continue with Step 10.
If YES, then STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
10. Perform the following items to clear trouble:
• At COT, check LIU options and replace LIU if options are correct.
• At RT, check ADU options and replace ADU if options are correct.
• At RT, check LIU options and replace LIU if options are correct.
11. After performing the above Step, did all alarm indicators go off?
If NO, then continue with Step 12.
If YES, then STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
12. Trouble on digital line associated with digroup D. Verify that digital pairs have
been connected to the proper outside plant cable pairs. Use 363-205-500 or
363-202-500 TOP fault-locating procedures to locate trouble.
13. Request COT personnel to install TRU for shelf group AB
Response:
LIU-A, LIU-B, and LIU-P (if equipped) CLF LEDs go off.
Digroups A and B alarms clear on BCU with in 4 minutes.
