Special Station to Station Topologies

Most of the examples and configurations described in this User’s
Guide, refer to standard infrastructure network scenarios, where
wireless computer terminals connect to the network via
WavePOINT-II access points.
When you would like to setup two WaveLAN/EC-S device as a
replacement to serial cable connections, you will need to configure
the WaveLAN/EC-S device in slightly different way.

The WaveLAN network operation mode of both devices should
be configured to an “Independent Basic Service Set” (ibss)

Assign a unique IP Address to each station (see page 4-22).

Set the TCP/IP Binding parameter of each WaveLAN/EC-S
device to communicate exclusively with the IP Address of the
corresponding Link Partner.
For example looking at Figure 4-7, the parameter setting for both
stations A & B would look as follows:
The IP Address values can of course be replaced with any valid IP
Address value from the range assigned to your organization.
