Write down the IP Address value, as you will need it later
on, when configuring the link partner.

Press

on your keyboard to confirm your changes, and
return to the Edit Menu.

From the Edit Menu, select the item “RS-232 port (uart0).

Scroll down this menu to display the following section:
[tcpbind1b]
protocol = tcp
ip address = 10.10.10.129
Looking at the highlighted status bar at the bottom of your
screen, you can find this section at Line # 85.
The
[tcpbind1b]
section enables you to enter the unique IP
Address value of the remote Link Partner.

Change the IP Address value to the value that you
assigned/will assign to the remote link partner. You can
use either:
— A unique IP Address from the range assigned to your
organization, or
— The default value 10.10.10.129.
7.
(Optional) If required, change the subnet mask to a value that
matches your IP Addressing scheme.

Press

to confirm the changes, and return to the “Edit
Menu”.
9.
Proceed as described in “” on page 4-48 to save the
configuration to your WaveLAN/EC-S device.
10. Repeat steps 1 through 9 to configure the link partner.
11. Power up both devices and your ready to go.
