You can use the WaveLAN/EC-S Device Information to:

Compare the versions loaded into the WaveLAN/EC-S device
with software available on the WaveLAN website to determine
if you need to update any of the items listed on this screen.
■
Provide more details about your installed product(s) when
contacting WaveLAN Technical Support.
■
Check if the device lists any error messages, that you can use
as a reference to finding the right solution when consulting
Appendix B ”Troubleshooting”.
Password Protect your Configuration

The configuration of the WaveLAN/EC-S is password protected to
prevent unauthorized changes to the parameter settings. The
default password for “out-of-the-box” WaveLAN/EC-S devices is
“public”.
NOTE:
You are advised to change this default value, to avoid
tampering with the configuration settings of your
WaveLAN/EC-S device. Especially when you wish to allow
remote configuration of the WaveLAN/EC-S device via
TCP/IP, changing the default password is “good practice”
for managing your network.
