To select an option use the
and
cursor keys of your keyboard
to highlight the item of your choice, and press the
key.
Alternatively you can use the following keyboard shortcuts:
Ctrl-P (previous)or
- to move the cursor up.
Ctrl-N (next) or
- to move the cursor down.
Keyboard shortcuts that you can use in other menus are:
Ctrl-B (back) or
- to move the cursor left.
Ctrl-F (forward) or
- to move the cursor right.
Ctrl-A - to move the cursor to the beginning of the line.
Ctrl-E (end) - to move the cursor to the end of the line.
Ctrl-H or
- to delete text left of the cursor.
Ctrl-K - to delete text from the cursor to the end of the line.
Ctrl-L - to force the screen to redraw.
If your computer is running an “X Window System”, you can
also use your mouse device to select menu items.
To confirm or cancel your changes in the “Edit” menus:
Ctrl-W (write) - to save changes and return to the previous
menu.
Ctrl-X (exit) - to exit without saving changes.
NOTE:
Looking at the configuration menus, you will see entries
preceded by a pound or hash sign (#). This sign indicates
a comment, which does not influence the settings of the
device. A comment can be inserted either by the
programmer or person that modified the configuration.
Occasionally the # sign is used to disable a listed feature,
where clearing the sign will enable it again.
