To display detailed information about the configuration and/or
hardware status of your WaveLAN/EC-S device, you can select
one of the following options from the Main Menu:
■
View Configuration For Capture.
■
You can use the WaveLAN/EC-S Device Information to:
■
Compare the versions loaded into the WaveLAN/EC-S device
with software available on the WaveLAN website to determine
if you need to update any of the items listed on this screen.
■
Provide more details about your installed product(s) when
contacting WaveLAN Technical Support.
■
Check if the device lists any error messages, that you can use
as a reference to finding the right solution when consulting
Appendix B ”Troubleshooting”.
View Configuration For Capture

This option enables you to display all configuration settings in one
ASCII text window, without changing the parameters. If your
terminal emulation software supports a capture mode, you could
use this option to:
■
Save the captured parameters to an ASCII text file, allowing
you to build a configuration record of your WaveLAN/EC-S
devices.
■
Print the captured data to a local printer.
In case you are troubleshooting problems operating the WaveLAN/
EC-S device, you can send the file or print-out to your WaveLAN
Technical Support representative.
