Station-to-Station Topology

In a Station-to-Station topology, pairs of devices are configured to
communicate with each other exclusively, using a WaveLAN/EC-S
devices to replace the serial RS-232 cable connection.
This type of configuration requires the TCP/IP network protocol,
where you must assign a unique IP Address to each station. For
example looking at Figure 1-6:

Station A uses IP Address 10.10.10.128, and
■
Station B uses IP Address 10.10.10.129.
To restrict wireless communication between 2 link partners only,
you can "bind" the station to one specific IP Address, being the
address of the link partner. Looking at Figure 1-6 again:
■
Station A is bound to communicate with 10.10.10.129 only.
■
Station B is bound to communicate with 10.10.10.128 only.
