Once you have established a connection to the WaveLAN/EC-S
device as described on the preceding pages, your terminal
emulation program should automatically display the Main Menu of
the Built-in Configurator tool pictured in Figure 4-2.
If the Built-in Configurator tool prompts you to enter a password,
enter the correct password (default is “public”).

The Main Menu displays a number of items that allow you to:

View/modify the configuration of the WaveLAN/EC-S device.
■
View or clear the System Event Log.
■
Reset the device to restart using its factory-set configuration.
Changes in any of the “Edit” menus will be stored in the WaveLAN/
EC-S directly. However the change will not take effect until you
power the WaveLAN/EC-S off and back on again, or use the option
“Reset the WaveLAN/EC-S” (described on page 4-24).
