Safety Instructions
• The lighting unit is only intended for illuminating terrariums or aquariums,
and is not suitable for household room illumination.
• The vivarium should only be used in enclosed spaces. The outdoor use is
not permitted
• Pull mains plug before opening the lamp
• The allowed ambient temperature may not fall below 0° or exceed 40°C
during operation.
• Do not open the case or make any modifications.
• Cables have to be regularly checked for damages. In case of discovering a
problem, put the device immediately out of operation. The transformer must
not get in contact with liquids.
• Use only Lucky Reptile Halogen Sun LV and Halogen Sun Nano lamps. These
release their heat radiation from the front, where the animals will benefit.
Customary halogen spotlights are designed, as cool beam which means heat
will be radiated backwards. Negative results can be overheating and even
melting of the cover is possible.
• Generally it should be verified if the device is applicable for the application at
hand before putting it into operation! In case of doubt consultation of experts
or the manufacturer of the employed devices is required!
• It is only allowed to use the supplied components or the separately availa-
ble original extension and spare parts. Using any other parts will void the
warranty.
• On the lid does not be items parked. Make sure that the side ventilation ope-
nings are not covered. The same applies to the ventilation via the radiator.
• Always observe the safety of lamp used.
Disposing the lamp
Halogen spotlights: Defective halogen spotlights please just over the household
waste.
Fluorescent tubes and metal halide lamps: Due to their mercury content they
must not be disposed with the normal trash. The lamps can be disposed free
of charge at communal collection sites. The manufactures then ensure correct
disposal of the lamp.
The lid of the Starter Kits as a whole is an electrical appliance and must not
be disposed of with household waste. Again: Give it to us at the communal
collection.
Warranty
The warranty expires in case of modification and repair attempts as well as
damaging by force or inappropriate usage.
A manufacturer warranty of 2 years is granted on this device. The warranty
includes the correction of faults that can be attributed to the use of faulty ma-
terials or workmanship.
Neither a guarantee nor any liabilities for detriments or consequential damages
in relation with this product will be assumed. Repair, amendments or exchange
for a replacement are at the manufacturer’s discretion.
In case of warranty claims or repairs contact your specialist dealer.
