Sensitivity
—
Press the MENU button repeatedly until the SENSITIVITY menu
is shown. In this menu you select how detailed the information
shown on the display is to be. High sensitivity shows more
echoes from small fish and floating objects, but the display can
be indistinct and difficult to interpret.
In clear water or deep water, high sensitivity can be used to
show weaker echoes. Lower sensitivity gives a more detailed
image, which can make it easier in muddy water. Echoes of fish
may be missed if you set the sensitivity too low. Possible
settings are 1 to 9.
Depth Range---
Press the MENU button repeatedly until the DEPTH RANGE
menu is shown.
The standard setting is AUTO. In AUTO mode the unit adjusts
the lower limit for the depth range to follow the bottom. Possible
settings are Auto, 10

NOTE:
When set manually the bottom is not shown on the
display if the actual depth is greater than the lower limit set the
depth range. Select AUTO to return to automatic operation.
ZOOM

Press the MENU button repeatedly until the ZOOM menu is
shown. Select AUTO to enlarge the area near the bottom to
show fish and structures near the bottom, which may not be
visible during normal operation. If ZOOM is set to AUTO the
upper and lower limit for the depth range are adjusted so that
the area nearest the bottom is shown on the display. Select
AUTO to return to normal operation. Possible settings are OFF,
