1. PROPER USE
LX LIFT has been especially designed for controlling up to two LUKAS hydraulic
cylinders (without a separate control valve)� The extension and retraction move-
ment of the hydraulic cylinders is controlled with the control module� LX LIFT
makes it possible to operate LUKAS telescopic cylinders from the rerailing range
with a rescue unit� The maximum required quantity of oil in the cylinders and the
usable quantity of oil in the power unit must be taken into account�
It must always be used in combination with LUKAS original accessories�
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper use� The user
bears sole responsibility for such use�
2. PRODUCT SAFETY AND PICTOGRAMS
The safety of the operator is the most important consideration in product design�
Furthermore, the instruction manual is intended to help you use LUKAS products
safely�
The generally applicable legal and other binding regulations pertaining to the
prevention of accidents and protection of the environment apply and are to be com-
plied with in addition to the operating instructions�
The device may only be operated by persons with appropriate training in the safety
aspects of such equipment, otherwise, there is a risk of injury�
We would like to point out to all users that they should carefully read the instruction
manual before using the device� All instructions contained must be followed without
restriction
We further recommend that you have a qualified trainer show you how to use the
product
The operating instructions for accessories must also be taken into
account
Please ensure that the accessories you use are designed to with-
stand the maximum operating pressure of the rescue device�
Observe the instructions for the hose lines�
Never work in a fatigued or intoxicated state!
Always use the equipment as described in the section “Proper use”�
Please ensure that no body parts or clothing are caught between
the moving parts�
Only touch or hold the device by the handles�
Working under suspended loads is not permitted if such loads are
being lifted only by means of hydraulic devices� If this work is un-
avoidable, sufficient mechanical supports are also required�
