LUKAS products are developed and manufactured to ensure the best performance and
quality for their intended use.
The safety of the operator is the most important consideration of product design.
In addition, the operating instructions should help to ensure that LUKAS products are
safe to use
. In addition to the operating instructions, the generally applicable legal and other man-
datory regulations relevant to accident prevention and environmental protection are to
be observed and referred to.
The device may only be operated by appropriately trained, safety-technically trained
persons in order to exclude the risk of injury.
We advise all users to read the operating instructions carefully before using the device
and to follow the instructions without restriction.
We also recommend that you have a qualified instructor instruct you on how to use the
product.
Even if you have already received a briefing, you should read the
following
safety instructions
once more.
Make sure that no body parts or clothing are placed between the open
visible moving parts (e.g. telescopic rod).
Working under loads is forbidden if these are only being lifted by the
stabilisation system. If this work is indispensable, then
additional sufficient mechanical supports are required.
WARNING / BEWARE!
The stabilisation system is not designed for supporting and lifting
loads!
Wear protective clothing, protective helmet with visor, safety shoes
and protective gloves DIN EN388:2019-03.
Before and after use, check the device for visible defects or damage.
Do not make any changes (attachments or conversions) to the device wi-
thout the approval of the company LUKAS.
All safety and danger notices on the device must remain complete
and in a legible condition.
Observe all safety and danger notices on the device and from
the operating instructions.
Any method of operation which is detrimental to the safety and/or
impairs the stability of the device is prohibited!
Repairs to the device may only be carried out by a trained service technician
specialist, with device-specific knowledge.
Safety devices must never be deactivated!
Only original LUKAS accessories and spare parts may be used for
repairs.
Observe all prescribed instructions or those given in the operating
instructions. The Commission shall enter deadlines for periodic inspections
and/or tests.
Before and during use of the equipment, it must be ensured
that no one is endangered by the use of the device.
When working close to live components and conductors, it is important to
ensure that there are suitable precautions to avoid current transitions or
high-voltage flashovers to the device.
When tensioning the stabilising system, make sure that it is tightened by
shearing, tearing or breaking, material falling off or being damaged by
sudden detachment can be thrown away and meet suitable guidelines.
