1. BASIC REQUIREMENTS, OPERATIONAL
SAFETY
In the safety service scope, the temperature limiter meets to require-
ments of the EN 61010-1 standard.
Observations Concerning the Operational Safety:
l
All operations concerning transport, installation, and commissioning
as well as maintenance, must be carried out by qualified, skilled
personnel, and national regulations for the prevention of accidents
must be observed.
l
Before switching the temperature limiter on, one must check the
correctness of connections to the network.
l
Do not connect the temperature limiter to the network through an
autotransformer.
l
The removal of the temperature limiter casing during the guarantee
contract period may cause its cancellation.
l
The temperature limiter fulfills requirements related to electromagnetic
compatibility in the industrial environment
l
When connecting the supply, one must remember that a switch
or a circuit-breaker should be installed in the room. This switch
should be located near the device, easy accessible by the operator,
and suitably marked as an element switching the temperature limiter off.
l
Non-authorized removal of the casing, inappropriate use, incorrect
installation or operation, create the risk of injury to personnel or meter
damage.
2. INSTALLATION
2.1. Temperature limiter Installation
Fix the temperature limiter to the panel with four mounting
brackets with screws according to Fig. 1. The hole in the panel should
have dimensions of 45
+0.6
x 45
+0.6
mm. The thickness of the material from
which the panel is made must not exceed 15 mm.
