Reverse Module Installation (Continued)
2.2: For Ceiling Fan Models CF2400, CF4500,
CF4501, CF4800 and CF4801 ONLY.
5. Remove the Wire Connector joining the Three Blue
Wires (Figure 2).
6. Separate the Ceiling Fan Blue Wire and cap this
Wire using a Wire Connector (supplied) (Figure 2).
On Models CF4500, CF4501, CF4800 and CF4801
ONLY:
Cut the Uplight Switch Yellow Wire and cap
the end of this Wire coming from the Center of the
Motor using a Wire Connector.
On Model CF2400 ONLY:
Remove the Wire
Connector joining the Two Yellow Wires; Cap the
Motor Yellow Wire using a Wire Connector (orange
wire on older models).
7. Remove the Knurled Nut securing the Uplight
Switch to the Switch Housing and Remove the
Uplight Switch.
8. Place the Pull Chain Plug (supplied) in the Switch
Housing exposed Uplight Switch Hole (Figure 2).

9. Remove Two Screws securing the Reverse
Switch to the Switch Housing (Figure 3).
10. Place the Pull Chain Plug (supplied) in the Switch
Housing exposed Reverse Switch Hole (Figure 3).

11. Locate the Capacitor Gray Wire which is
connected to the Yellow Wire (gray wire on older
models) coming from the Center of the Motor
(Figure 4).
12. Remove the Wire Connector and separate the
Gray and Yellow Wires.
13. Cap the Yellow Wire using a Wire Connector
(supplied) (Figure 4).
