Reverse Module Installation (Continued)

2.5: For Ceiling Fan Model CF2400 ONLY.

14. Locate the Capacitor Gray Wire which is 

connected to the Gray Wire coming from the 

Center of the Motor (yellow wire on older 

models) (Figure 5). 

15. Remove the Wire Connector and separate these 

Wires. 

16. Cap the Gray Wire coming from the Motor using 

a Wire Connector (supplied) (Figure 5).

17. Separate the Capacitor (held in place with 

two-sided tape) from the Switch Housing 

(Figure 6).

18. Remove the Wiring Harness and Switch(es) 

from the Switch Housing.

NOTE: Keep the wiring harness if you think you may 

like to return to manual control in the future.

19. Close the Hole(s) for the Speed Control Switch, 

the Uplight Switch, and the Reverse Switch 

by installing Pull Chain Plug(s) (supplied) 

or Rectangular Plug (supplied) in the Hole(s) 

(Figure 7). 

 

Choose the color that best matches your Ceiling 

Fan.
