LIGHT PROTECTION SENSOR:
Please note that the unit is equipped with the special protection
sensor (7), which would not allow you to turn on the unit without
the lens cover in a well-lit area. To test the unit during daylight
(only with the lens covers on) you may cover the sensor with
your finger or move to a darker area.
Please note that the
protection sensor only works when turning the unit on
and does not protect the unit from accidental exposure to
a bright light once the unit is already powered up. Please
avoid such exposure to preserve the full life of the tube.
