Fascia and barge boards will be assembled after the cover material (
). If the house model includes
two pairs of fascia boards, the narrower ones will be the last to be installed on top of the wider ones.
If your cabin was delivered including roofing sh edge strip, do as following (see drawings 14a-14d) :
Although Lillevilla-shed is steady constructed, it is worth to protect it against heavy winds. Fasten foundation beams
to the basement like described above.
Note! Fasten the roof to the building and the house to the basement with special care in open areas having
possibility to heavy winds and storms. You might need extra fastening material excluded from the delivery.
If the threaded rods are included, assemble them to the ready drilled holes of the opposite walls according to the
(nuts and nut washers to both ends). Please take care that the upper end of the threaded rod will stay
under the line of the edge of the gable triangle to allow the roof boards to be assembled. Check the nuts regularly
and tighten lightly when needed. It might be necessary to loosen the nuts a bit to let the expanding timber rise,
when the weather is moist. Otherwise the corners or walls would distend from sides.
When the house frame sinks, it is possible that threaded rods meet the ground getting up and damaging the roof. In
such case, before that happens, please saw the rods shorter from bottom ends. Note this matter already when
making the foundation.
At first fasten the foundation beams (T14) to their place at the same way as you did with the building itself. The short

Roofing shingles are attached directly to roofboards. Appropriate working temperature is above +5 C. The
surface must be dry and clean. Eave strips must be installed first, see Pic.A. In order to ensure draining of water, it is
recommended to leave the eave strip 1-2 cm over the eave's edge. Remember to remove the covering film from the
underside.
Start installation of roofing shingles from the centre of eaves, see Pic. B. Fasten shingles with six special
(bitumen) clout nails (2 cm from the upper edge of marked points), see Pic. C. After nailing of the first row of
shingles, position the next row in alignment with the previous row; the next row must also cover the nails of the
previous row.
Continue installation in accordance with Pic. B. Cut off redundant shingle parts and begin the opposite side of
the next row with the same parts, see Pic. B.
Cover the side of the roof up to its top (about 5 cm from the top may be left uncovered). Cover the other side
of the roof as well, see Pic. D. Cover the top with the covering strip, see Pic. D.
Attention! The undersides of bitumen shingles are covered with self-adhesive material, which adheres when the
weather is warm.
