Step 6
Activate Loads in Bypass

A. Complete load wiring.

B. Check that the bypass jumpers are in place.

These jumpers protect the switch mechanism from
load faults and must be used to check load wiring
when it is installed or modified.

Warning!

Verify that the Softswitch128

panel is fed from the correct voltage. A
feed miswire or loss of a feed neutral
can cause overvoltage damage to the
equipment.

C. Turn a load’s input circuit breaker ON.

The load should energize, the breaker should not
trip, and total load current must be within the
circuit breaker's limit and less than 16 A.

D. Repeat ‘C.’ for each circuit with completed

load wiring.

If onsite Factory Commissioning was purchased with the Softswitch128 System, you may want to stop

here and complete the 

Control Location, Panel, and Control Station Tables

that are located in the back of the

Softswitch128 Setup and Maintenance Guide

.  Once those tables are completed, please call 1.800.523.9466 and

select Scheduling to schedule a field service visit.  Allow for 10 working days before a field service technician will visit.
If onsite commissioning was not purchased or if Telephone Startup was purchased, please continue the installation
process.
