Proper use

The product is intended for cutting grass 
areas in private and hobby gardens.
The product is not intended for commercial 
use.
Any improper use or any activities on the 
product not described in these instructions 
for use are considered inadmissible misuse 
and outside of the manufacturer’s legal liabil-
ity.

What do the symbols mean?

In the instructions for use

Hazard warnings and information signs are 
clearly marked in the instructions for use. The 
following symbols are used:

Protective equipment

These symbols identify the required personal 
protection equipment:

Symbols on the device

Symbols appearing on your device may not 
be removed or covered.
Signs on the product that are no longer legi-
ble must be replaced immediately

For your safety

General safety instructions

• For safe handling of the product, the user 

must have read and understood the 
instructions for use before using it for the 
first time.

• Observe all safety instructions! If you do 

not observe the safety instructions you 
will endanger yourself and others.

• Keep all instructions for use and safety 

instructions for future reference.

• Attach the instructions for use, if you 

pass on the device.

• Keep the device away from children. 

Store the device in a place where it is safe 
from children and unauthorized persons.

• All parts of the device, especially safety 

devices, must be correctly installed to 
ensure faultless operation.

• Conversions, unauthorized modifications 

and the use of non-approved parts are 
prohibited.

• The device may be used only when in a 

faultless condition. If the device or part of 
the product is defective, have it repaired 
by an expert.

• Always heed the applicable national and 

international safety, health and labour 
regulations.

• The device may only be put into opera-

tion if no faults are found during the 
check-up. Ensure that any defective 
parts are replaced before the product is 
used again.

• When the device has been turned off, 

always secure it to prevent accidental 
switching on.

• Always, make sure that the standing 

position is natural and secured while 
working.

• Do not overload the device. Use the 

device only for the purposes for which it 
is intended.
