You can reduce the risks considerably by following
the tips below:
– Maintain the device in accordance with the
instructions in the operating instructions.
– Avoid working at low temperatures.
– When it is cold, make sure your body and your
hands, in particular, are kept warm.
– Take regular breaks and move your hands at the
same time to promote circulation.
Electrical safety
• The device may only be connected to a socket
that is correctly installed and grounded.
• The fuse must be a residual current circuit-
breaker with a measured residual current of no
more than 30 mA.
• Make sure that the power supply corresponds
with the connection specifications of the device
before it is connected.
• The tool may only be used within the specified
limitations for voltage and power (see type
plate).
• Do not touch the mains plug with wet hands!
Always pull out the mains plug at the plug and
not by the cable.
• Do not bend, crush, pull or drive over the power
cable, protect from sharp edges, oil and heat.
• Do not lift the device using the cable or use the
cable for purposes other than intended.
• Check the plug and cable before each use.
• If the power cable is damaged immediately dis-
connect the plug. Never use the device if the
power cable is damaged.
• If the device is not in use make sure the plug is
pulled out.
• Make sure that the device is switched off before
plugging in the mains cable.
• Make sure that the device is switched off before
unplugging it.
• Disconnect the power supply before transport-
ing the device.
Maintenance
• Before conducting any maintenance on the
device, disconnect the mains plug.
• Only those maintenance and fault elimination
tasks described here may be carried out. Any
other tasks must be completed by a specialist.
• Only use original replacement parts. Only these
replacement parts are designed and suitable for
the device. Other replacement parts will not only
lead to an invalidation of the warranty, they may
also endanger you and your environment.
Device-specific safety instructions
• Ensure that the working area is clean and tidy
when working with the machine.
• Ensure that there is sufficient light when working
with the machine.
• The environment must be free of easily flamma-
ble and explosive materials.
• Young adults under 18 as well as users who are
not sufficiently familiar with its operation may not
operate this machine.
• The machine must not be used by people who
are incapable of using it safely and prudently
because of insufficient physical, mental, or sen-
sory capability.
• Always keep the machine dry.
• Store the machine in a frost-free location.
• Protect the machine from damage when trans-
porting it.
• Never direct the jet towards yourself or others in
order to clean clothes or shoes.
• Never power wash objects which contain mate-
rials injurious to health (e. g. asbestos).
• Never use liquids containing solvents, acetone,
undiluted acids, solvents, or fuels as cleaning
agents! The spray mist containing such materials
is seriously dangerous to health and may be
explosive.
• Use only cleaning agents authorised by the man-
ufacturer.
• Do not operate the machine when other persons
not wearing protective clothing are within reach.
• All live parts in the work area must be splashwa-
ter-proof.
• When cleaning painted surfaces, keep the jet at
least 30 cm away to prevent damages.
• Cleaning work that produces oil-containing
waste water, e. g. cleaning motors, undercar-
riages, etc., may only be performed in washing
bays equipped with an oil separator.
• Remember that moving parts may also be
located behind ventilation and venting slots.
• Symbols affixed to your unit may not be
removed or covered. Information on the unit that
is no longer legible must be replaced immedi-
ately.
Before putting the unit into operation, read
and observe the instructions for use.
In accordance with EN 61770, the product
must not be directly connected to the public
drinking water supply.
Always use a system separator in accord-
ance with EN 12729 type BA.
