Assembly
Mounting the lower steering bar
– Turn spring lock (19) by 90°. (A)
– Position the lower steering bar (15) as
illustrated. (B)
– Turn spring lock (19) again by 90° so that
its pin clicks into place. (C)
– Now screw on lower steering bar (15)
with screw, washer and self-locking nut
as illustrated. (D)
Mounting the upper steering bar
– Mount the upper steering bar (15) as
shown.
– Do the same on the other side.
Affix Bowden cables
– Affix Bowden cables with clamps (4) to
lower steering bar (15) as illustrated.
Mounting the cuttings bag
– Mounting the cuttings bag (14) as shown.
Prepare pull starter
– Slowly pull out pull starter cord (13) and
guide the starter cable through the two
eyelets (20) on the upper and lower steer-
ing bar.
Operation
Check before starting the device!
Check to make sure the unit is in a safe oper-
ating condition:
– Check to make sure there are no visible
defects.
– Check to make sure all unit components
are correctly mounted.
– Check to make sure the safety equipment
is functioning properly.
Filling with fuel
– Unscrew and remove the cap on the
tank (12).
– Carefully pour in the fuel (do not spill it) up
to the upper edge of the filling funnel (A).
– Screw the tank cap (12) onto the filling
funnel (A) and tighten by hand.
– If any fuel is spilt: Always clean fuel up.
Set the cutting height
– Set the cutting height as shown.

Position
the device horizontally on a stable,
sufficiently strong and even floor.
