1.15. AOM module cover interlock
The AOM module has an interlock switch that opens to disable laser output when the cover is removed.
For maintenance purposes, the switch can be overridden by pulling out the switch plunger.
Important!
There are no user serviceable parts within the AOM module. The cover should only be removed
by trained Luxinar service personnel.
With the cover removed and the interlock overridden, full power laser emission is present within the
AOM module even if there is no laser emission at the output window and no demand signal is active.
DANGER
Laser radiation hazard
Hazardous laser radiation is present within the AOM module at all times when modulation is
active. Do not operate the laser with the AOM module cover removed.

Dispose of the system according to appropriate local regulations.
