On activating the procedure, the present position is displayed with the name defined in one of two forms;
AP
(actual
position), or
TIME
(date and time), depending on which option has been selected in the setup (through password) menu.
Once selected, the data can be edited if required. This procedure is useful to store convenient landing places noted
during flight, thermals etc. By default, these points are designated with the
MARKER
attribute and are therefore
deleted when the instrument is switched off. If these points are required to be stored for future use, then the attribute
should be changed before switching off.

TSK - Task
The LX 7007 PRO IGC can store up to 100 tasks, with each task containing a maximum of 10 turn points (start , 8 turn
points and finish). Selecting and storing a task confers the following benefits:
•
Accurate task statistics
•
Simpler navigation
•
Automatic change over to next TP after confirmation
•
TSK shown on the graphic display
•
One further step of
ZOOM
(full task)
•
Full AAT support (Assigned Area Task)
The menu structure is similar to the APT and TP. Graphical data about the start, TP confirmation and finish line is
particularly useful.
When approaching a TP, a
NEAR
message is displayed to inform the pilot that he is closing on the turn point. When the
glider enters the observation zone, then the message
INSIDE
is displayed.

Final glide indicator from
present position to the finish
Altitude (AMSL) in vario mode;
glide ratio to reach the finish in
SC mode
Note!:
The final glide calculation in TSK mode is calculated from the present position to the finish point, via all
uncompleted turn points. Final glide to a single turn point or airport is available in the TP or APT modes.
