Starting a task
If the glider is flying into the start sector and the pilot decides to start the task, the following steps must be followed to
start the task:
•
Wait until the message
INSIDE
appears, indicating that the glider is in the start sector
•
Press the
START
button (short press)
A task cannot be started on the ground. Pressing the
START
button (about 1 sec press), starts the task. A indication
that the task has started is that the navigation data changes to the first TP.
It is also possible to start a task, while the glider is outside the start sector. In this case the pilot has to press
START
for
a longer time (about 6 sec., but in any case long enough until the TSK navigation data to the first TP appears).
Once the task has been started, it can be terminated at any time during flight and a new start made. If a task has already
been started, press
ENTER
and the following screen will appear:
