Charging and Battery Installation
6.1.1
Charging HV Batteries in the Aircraft
The HV batteries can be charged at the
pilot’s own risk inside the
aircraft using the following procedure:
1. Remove the terminal connector (located in the charge port
behind the pilot’s left elbow as shown in Figure 6-2) and
connect the Cable A charger plug to the charge port in the
fuselage (see Figure 6-1).
2. Insert a terminal connector to the unused Cable B of the battery
charger
3. Turn charger ON
4. Once the charging process is initiated, the DCU offers two
additional charge options that may be selected within 20 sec:
•
Selection of the charging power value; or
•
Selection of storage charging
