IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING
TO A RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, PERSONAL
INJURY OR DAMAGE TO WHIRLPOOL.

WHEN USING THIS WHIRLPOOL, THESE BASIC

PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED:

READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS!

The unit must be connected only to a supply circuit that is protected by a ground-fault circuit-interrupter
(GFCI).  Such a GFCI should be provided by the installer and should be tested on a routine basis.  To test the

GFCI, push the test button.  The GFCI should interrupt power.  Push the reset button.  Power should be restored.  If the GFCI
fails to operate in this manner, the GFCI is defective.  If the GFCI interrupts power to the bathtub without the test button being
pushed, a ground current is flowing, indicating the possibility of an electric shock.  Do not use this hydromassage bath.
Disconnect the hydromassage bath and have the problem corrected by a qualified service representative before using.

(For permanently connected units)  A green colored terminal (or a wire connector mark “G”, “GR”, “Ground”, or “Grounding”)
is provided within the terminal compartment.  To reduce the risk of electric shock, connect this terminal or connector to the
grounding terminal of your electric service or supply panel with a conductor equivalent in size to the circuit conductors sup-
plying this equipment.

Never operate electrically connected devices in or near the bath. Never drop or insert any object into any
opening. Do not use electrical appliances while in the tub.

To reduce the risk of injury, do not permit children to use this unit unless they are closely supervised at all times.  Those requir-
ing supervision for any reason, should never be allowed to use the whirlpool unattended.

Use this whirlpool only for its intended use as described in this manual.  Do not use attachments not recommended by the man-
ufacturer.

Do not use the whirlpool if the protective cover is not installed on the suction intake. Keep foreign objects, including hair, away
from the suction intake as they could block the intake or get caught in it.  For comfort and safety, persons with long hair should
tie their hair up to keep it out of the water and away from the suction fitting.  Never place your head below the surface of the
water.

Tampering or modification of this whirlpool by anyone other than an authorized service technician will inval-
idate all warranties.

INSTALLER/OWNER BEARS ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLYING WITH ALL STATE AND LOCAL CODES WHEN
INSTALLING THIS UNIT.  Access for each pump or blower, approximately 18” x 24” per access, is required to make each pump
or blower available for servicing.

Persons under a doctor's care, pregnant women, persons with high or low blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or any seri-
ous illness, should not use a whirlpool without prior consultation with their physician.  Never use a whirlpool while under the
influence of any drugs or alcohol.  The maximum temperature of the water should never exceed 104°F.  Hot baths, showers,
saunas or steam baths can put stress on the body.

* To reduce risk of injury, enter and exit the bath carefully.
* Do not fill the tub with water above the air volume controls or overflow.
* Never run the whirlpool without water in the tub.

* Do not bathe pets in your whirlpool. Their hair could clog the pump.
* When filling the whirlpool with water, make sure the temperature does not exceed 104° F (60°C).
* Damage and discoloration of the acrylic surface may occur.
* The whirlpool should be drained after each use.
* The use of oil based additives is not recommended unless you follow the cleaning instructions outlined in

this book after each use of your whirlpool bath.

* Do not use harsh abrasives or solvents for cleaning your whirlpool.
