care & maintenance
Make sure I'm cold and unplugged form the power supply before cleaning me. I
must be kept clean at all times, and it will be enough to use a soft sponge or a
damp cloth. If you want, you may use soap or a degreaser cleaner. You must rinse
me frequently with clear water to avoid leaving soap residues.
Burners:
Soak them 20 - 30 minutes in a detergent and hot water solution. You
can use a plastic scouring pad (NEVER A STEEL WOOL PAD), rinse and dry thor-
oughly before replacing them, MAKE SURE THE PORTS ARE CLEAN AND CLEAR.
Surface grates:
Wash them using hot soapy water. (DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL
PADS).
Control knobs:
You can use a hot water and vinegar solution. (DO NOT SOAK
THEM).
Stainless steel (on some models):
If my cooktop or another parts are turning
yellow due to temperatures:
1. Moist the cooktop using water, apply 50 ml of sugar cane alcohol vinegar and
rub with a synthetic scouring pad.
2. Rinse. 3. Dry with a clean cloth.
Avoid unstable or improper sized
cookware. Always adjust my
flames so they won't extend be-
yond cookware bottom!
continuous cleaning oven
(Catalytic finish) (On some models)
My oven cleans itself while cooking. The oven walls are finished with a special
coating that must not be cleaned with soap, detergent, steel wool pads, commer-
cial oven cleaners, brushes, etc.. Use of such cleansers will cause permanent dam-
age. The special coating is a ceramic material that absorbs spatters.
To clean heavy soil: Clean the soiled surface using a small amount of water and a
stiff-bristle nylon brush. Change water frequently, to keep it as clean as possible
and blot it up with paper towels without scrubbing the surface. If water leaves a
white ring on the finish as it dries, apply water again and blot it starting at the
edge of the ring and working toward the center.
lower broiler (on some models)
The burner used to bake is also used to broil, and for this purpose there's a spe-
cial compartment at the bottom of the range. You can cook "au gratin" or reheat
foods in this compartment.
1. Remove the broiler pan.
2. Place food on the pan and the pan over the support rack.
3. Close the broiler door.
Important: Make sure that the two front pins of the support rack are engaged
into the two holes of the broiler floor.
