The dryer is disconnected
Make sure the dryer plug is completely
in the outlet.
Blown fuse / circuit breaker
tripped
Check the fuse box or circuit breaker of
the house and replace the fuse or
restart the breackers.

electric dryers use two fuses or breakers.

The dryer won’t
turn on
Blown fuse/ circuit breaker
tripped, the drum can spin
bur it does not heat up
Check the fuse box or circuit breaker of
the house and replace the fuse or
restart the breakers.
The gas line is closed
Make sure the dryer’s control valve and
the main valve are completely open.
The dryer does not
generate heat
For the dryer’s circuit, there
must be 2 house fuses. If one
of the fuses is blown, the drum
can turn but the heater will not
work.
Replace the fuse.
The dryer does not have
sifficient air supply to
maintain the pilot light (gas
models)
Consult the installation instructions.
The LP gas supply tank is
empty or there is a
discruption in the natural gas
supply network (gas models)
Fill or replace the tank. The dryer should
heat when the gas network supply it
reestablished.
Some shaking and noise is
normal. The dryer may be
seated unevenly
Move the dryer to an even surface, or
adjust the leveling feet as necessary
until even.
The dryer shakes
or makes noise
Inappropriate use of fabric
softener
Follow the instructions on the fabric
softener packaging.
You are drying dirty articles
together with clean ones
Only use your dryer to dry clena articles,
Dirty articles can stain your clean ones or
the dryer itself.
The clothing was not completely
clean
Sometimes stains that you cannot see
when the clothes are west show up after
drying. Use the appropriate wash
procedures before drying.
Greasy stains on
the clothing
