Vertical storage (stow)
This product is equipped with an Mow N’Stow engine of Briggs & Stratton. The Mow
N’Stow engine allows to store the product vertically to reduce storage space.
1. Make sure the fuel tank cap (12) and the oil tank cap (20) are secured and closed.
2. Remove the grass catcher (25).
3. Set the lever for cutting height adjustment (22) in the middle position.
4. Turn the lower handle bar lock (23) about 90 degrees (Fig. 1). Repeat on the other
side to unlock the lower handle bar (5).
5. Fold the handle bars (4, 5) from working position to storage position.
6. Turn back the lower handle bar lock (23) on both sides and swing the lower handle
bar (5) slightly until the handle bar lock (23) clicks in place.
7. Lift up the product by its transportation handle (1a) so that it standards vertically
(Fig. 25).
Cutting height adjustment
WARNING!
Before adjusting the cutting height, stop the engine and
wait until the blade (29) comes to a complete stop.
This product can be adjusted to 7 different height settings. New or thick grass may
require a higher cutting height and a narrower cutting path.
1. Pull the lever for cutting height adjustment (22) towards the wheel (16) (Fig. 24, step 1),
and then move it forward or backward to the desired cutting height (Fig. 24, step 2).
2. Release the lever (22) and ensure it engages into place properly.
NOTE:
If you are not sure what cutting height should be selected, start with
a maximum height and check the appearance of the lawn after mowing a
small area. Adjust the setting if necessary.
