Grass catcher
Indicator
The grass catcher (6) is equipped with a hatch (6e) that indicates the filling during
operation.
1. When the hatch (6e) is opened the grass catcher has sufficient volume left to
collect grass (Fig. 14).
2. When the hatch (6e) is closed, the grass catcher is full and must be emptied
(Fig. 15).
Emptying
Empty the grass catcher (6) frequently during use. Do not wait until it is
completely full. We recommend emptying it when it is half full.
1. Switch the product off and make sure that the motor has stopped and the
blade has stopped rotating.
2. Lift the deflector guard (17) and lift the grass catcher (6) off the hooks.
3. Remove the grass clippings from the rear discharge chute (20) into the grass
catcher (6). Use a proper tool such as a brush.
4. Remove the grass catcher by its carry handle (6a).
5. Empty the grass clippings onto a compost heap.
6. Re-fit the grass catcher (6) to the product.
NOTE:
A full grass catcher will reduce the performance of this
product.
