5.12.1
Greasing Procedure
Greasing points are identified on the machine by decals showing a grease gun and grease interval in hours of operation.
Grease point layout decals are located on the header.
WARNING
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up of machine, always stop engine and remove key from ignition
before leaving operator

1.
Wipe grease fitting with a clean cloth before greasing to
avoid injecting dirt and grit.
IMPORTANT:
Use clean, high-temperature, extreme-pressure grease only.
2.
Inject grease through fitting with grease gun until grease
overflows fitting (except where noted).
3.
Leave excess grease on fitting to keep out dirt.
4.
Replace any loose or broken fittings immediately.
5.
Remove and thoroughly clean any fitting that will not take
grease. Also clean lubricant passageway. Replace fitting if
necessary.
